When maple syrup producer Ruth Landry finds her livelihood under attack from greedy competitors who were once her friends, she hatches a plan to get revenge and shake up the industry.
The show deserves a higher rating, but cutting the season to 6 episodes just to make 2 was a senseless decision on the part of whoever made it
I understand that cliffhangers are all the rage, but how many times have shows not been renewed and the people who enjoyed them have been disappointed?

I can’t count on one hand how many shows I thought were great but ended with an unresolved issue.
The viewers who invest time in these shows are the ones who get ripped off, and that happens all too often these days
