Story
A contemporary story about the search for fortune in the world of West Texas oil rigs. The landowner, at least one who works in the oil industry, will act as an intermediary between geological exploration companies and landowners. Usually, a landowner’s job is to negotiate and conclude contracts with landowners who have the right to extract minerals, to lease these rights to the company they represent.

In essence, they manage the land and receive a lease in order to be able to extract oil and gas. As a foreman on a construction site, they build roads, housing for workers (guard settlement), assemble earthmoving machines and drill the well itself, especially in hard-to-reach places. They also partially fix, partially solve problems, and partially help.

Taylor Sheridan makes her female characters very shallow, even if they seem strong, so this series is no different. But for me, the series became a winner, because Billy Bob eclipses everyone in every wall; even those where half-naked women appear! How the oil business is portrayed is probably a very accurate reflection of how the industry is run.
His female characters have a lot of flaws
BB has the best lines to describe the value of oil and what makes the world go round (oil). The sets are amazing, and how the platforms work is actually very instructive. I just don’t understand why the girl is such a fool and the wife is such a loser, but I think it’s in the spirit of Sheridan.
He is magnificent
But to see good lines and the best performances of Billy Bob Thornton, watch this series.
